In this exciting period of growth, we have an exciting opportunity at Coal Operations to join our Underground team as an Shift Execution Lead. Working with a dynamic team, you will be a strong leader who has the ability to drive the correct safety culture whilst maintaining a strong focus on continuous improvement, problem solving and high standards.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Audit areas of the mine to maintain compliance with Management Plans & Systems
• Respond to Trigger Action response Plans (TARPs)
• Conduct Start of Shift Meetings with Deputies, Crew Leaders & Control room operators
• Conduct Debriefing Meetings with Deputies, Crew Leaders & Control room operators
• Conduct Start of Shift Toolbox talks with Employees
• Complete a detailed Shift Report
• Read & sign all statutory & deputies production reports for your shift

Skills and Experience:

• Experience working in a similar position in an underground coal environment
• Significant people leadership experience
• Ability to promote a positive safety culture within the mine
• Strong communication, interpersonal and leadership skills.
• Demonstrated ability to meet production targets.
• Current standard 11 (underground)
• Current Coal board medical
